In view of the upcoming 2016 National Elections , THE PUP DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY& THE CENTER FOR PEACE AND POVERTY ALLEVIATION STUDIES in cooperation with CENTER FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND GOVERNANCE invites you to a three-day national conference, with the theme,
“Bayan at Halalan: the Role of Social Institutions in Reframing the Filipino Nation” on March 14-16, 2016 at the Bulwagang Bonifacio of the PUP Ninoy Aquino Library and Learning Resources Center.
The conference will convene highly esteemed representatives of social institutions, experts in politics and international relations, and major political parties for a comprehensive discussion on Philippine Politics and nation-building.
As the highlight of the conference, major political parties will present their respective historical backgrounds, ideologies and platforms. Reactors, on the other hand, from various major stake-holders will utilize the program as a venue to express their issues and concerns. In this regard, you are cordially invited to attend the occasion free of charge.
